With purchase of POS bundles you get a quick start guide, and access to online training videos. Retailers with additional system requirements can purchase optional services for a fee.
What type of computer does the Counterpoint POS software run on?
Counterpoint runs on any Windows 7 or Windows 10 computers and all-in-one Touch Screen POS terminals such as Pelion NX-15 and NCR XR7.

If you need to print receipts, collect cash, swipe credit cards, print or scan barcodes, we can provide you the necessary POS equipment that works with Counterpoint software. Counterpoint Credit Card software is compatible with NCR Payment Services, First Data North, First Data South, TSYS/Vital, and Paymentech. For EMV compatible Counterpoint software utilizes Ingenico ISC 250 Payment Terminal.
What are the other requirements to operate Counterpoint Credit Card Software?
If you purchase Counterpoint Credit Card software option you must have internet connectivity, firewall and antivirus software. To process EMV cards you will add Ingenico ISC 250 Payment Terminal.
What transaction-related costs is the retailer responsible for?
The retailer will be responsible for ongoing costs associated with NCR SecurePay fee and credit card processing fees from the merchant services provider plus internet connectivity charges.
How long does it take to be up and running on Counterpoint?
You can be setup and ready to sell in a few hours to a few days depending upon the size of your business and the amount of inventory and customer data you need to enter into your Counterpoint POS System.
